The SAVVY Retro™ utilizes thermal-forming or radial offset pleated shaping technologies. This traditional-style carrier offers a flat, smooth look and feel. The stretch microfiber helps keep the panel snug against the body, especially for larger-chest women. The Retro utilizes a traditional shoulder and side adjustable strapping system and can be purchased with a 4-point or 6-point strapping system.
WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE
All SAVVY ballistic panels are covered with a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® fabric panel covering. This fabric prevents water and contaminates, such as body oils and salts from penetrating into the panels, improving hygiene and reducing unpleasant odor. The fabric incorporates a Gore-Tex membrane that allows moisture vapor from perspiration to escape, which also enhances comfort. With a thin, light Gore-Tex fabric panel covering their body armor, officers can focus on more important things like protecting life.
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
Although waterproof and breathable are two of the most important characteristics in a fabric panel covering, Gore-Tex fabric offers so much more. The durable fabric is long lasting and maintains its ability to perform in a wide variety of environmental conditions. Not only is Gore-Tex fabric laboratory tested, but it’s also field tested to ensure suitability for the intended use. Even more, Gore-Tex fabric is easy to clean – just wipe with a wet, soapy cloth and rinse with a clean wet cloth.

Custom-tailored armor will fit better, be more comfortable, and provide vastly better protection. Delivery may take 4 to 6 weeks, but this gives you the best fit, comfort and protection.
Orders will not be processed until we have your completed fit sheet and for all BAE body armor, a BAE End User Certificate.
